20-minute call
We talk about your team, the tools you already pay for, and where the busywork is.
You send examples
Three to five tasks your team repeats every week, with sensitive details removed. I build the exercises from them.
The workshop
Short demos, then everyone works through their own tasks with help. People leave with it working on their own laptops.
Follow-up
You get the prompt library, the use policy, and the automation shortlist, plus 30 days of questions by email.

Team workshop

Three hours at your office, up to 25 people, customized to your work. Founding rate of $3,500 for the first three Middle Tennessee teams.
Lunch session
$1,500
A 75-minute virtual session over lunch, up to 30 people, focused on the two or three uses that save the most time.
Workflow audit
$1,500
I map one department’s processes and give you a ranked plan for what to automate, with costs. Credited toward any build.

I’m Dane Hale. I’m a Director of Software Engineering in Middle Tennessee, and I’ve spent 15 years building software for clients.
I use AI tools every day to do real work, and I know where they help, where they make things up, and what shouldn’t be pasted into them. The workshop teaches exactly that, without jargon.

Frequently asked
Which AI tools do you teach?
Whatever you already pay for: ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude or Gemini. If you don’t have one yet, I’ll recommend one on our call based on how your team works.
Is our data safe?
We cover it directly. Your team learns which plans keep your data out of model training, what never goes into AI tools, and you get a one-page policy to make it official.
Does my team need to be technical?
No. If they can write an email, they can do this. The exercises use their everyday tasks.
Can the state help pay for it?
Possibly. Tennessee’s Incumbent Worker Training program can cover part of training costs for Tennessee businesses with at least five full-time employees that have operated for a year or more. Approval is up to the state, so contact your local American Job Center before booking. I’ll provide the agenda and documentation they ask for.
Can you do it remotely?
Yes. The lunch session is virtual, and the full workshop can be virtual too, though in-person sessions work better because I can help people one on one.
What happens after?
You keep everything. If you want to go further, the workflow audit and automation builds are there, but nothing is required.
